قال جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي إنه وجه اللوم لضابطين قصفا منطقة مكتظة بالسكان بالمدفعية، ما أسفر عن إصابة مجمع تابع للأمم المتحدة خلال الحرب الأخيرة على قطاع غزة. وكانت صحيفة هآرتس قد ذكرت أن الجنديين واجها محاكمة تأديبية بسبب قصفهما مدرسة أممية.
