سلمت إسرائيل ردها على تقرير غولدستون الذي اتهمها وحماس بارتكاب جرائم حرب. ولم تتطرق الوثيقة إلى لجنة تحقيق طلبتها الجمعية العامة. كما قالت السلطة الفلسطينية إنها سلمت تقريرا أوليا لم تساهم فيه حماس، ودعت الحركة إلى التعاون مع لجنة أنشأتها لهذا الغرض.
