واصلت أسعار العقود الآجلة للنفط تراجعها لليوم الثالث على التوالي متجهة نحو 75 دولارا للبرميل متأثرة باستمرار انخفاض أسواق البورصة في أميركا وأوروبا، بالإضافة لارتفاع الدولار. كما تعرضت أسعار السلع الأولية لضغوط بعد اقتراح للرئيس الأميركي إدخال إصلاحات في قطاع البنوك.
