قال مسؤول في وزارة الطاقة الجزائرية إن شركة النفط الوطنية (سوناطراك) وتحالفا تقوده شركة توتال الفرنسية سيستثمران ما يصل إلى ملياري دولار لتطوير واستغلال حقل كبير للغاز في جنوب غرب الجزائر. وتعاقدت الجزائر مع تحالفين دوليين آخرين لاستخلال مخزونات غاز.
