حث الرئيس الأميركي باراك أوباما استخبارات بلاده على تصحيح أخطائها بعد فشلها في اكتشاف محاولة النيجيري عمر فاروق لتفجير طائرة ديترويت. وقال في بيان رئاسي إن ذلك لن يؤثر على خططه لإغلاق معسكر غوانتانامو.
