دافعت وزارة الاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات الإندونيسية عن قرارها حظر التعامل مع شركات تثبت علاقتها مع إسرائيل. وأكد مسؤول بالوزارة احترام "مشاعر المواطنين وعدم استفزازهم, نظرا للحساسية التي قد تثيرها مثل هذه المناقصات لدى الشارع المتعاطف جدا مع الشعب الفلسطيني والقضية الفلسطينية".
