قال حزب الرابطة الإسلامية الباكستانية جناح نواز شريف المعارض إنه لن يؤيد أي إجراءات غير دستورية ضد الرئيس آصف علي زرداري، لكنه حذر من الاحتجاجات ما لم يتخل زرداري عن بعض سلطاته.
