حقق برشلونة حامل لقب الدوري الإسباني فوزا بهدف وحيد على إسبانيول, وخسر فالنسيا الثالث أمام ريال مدريد الثاني 2-3 في افتتاح المرحلة الـ14. بهذه النتيجة يحتفظ برشلونة بالصدارة بفارق خمس نقاط عن ريال مدريد.
