قال القيادي بالحزب الوطني الديمقراطي الحاكم في مصر مصطفى الفقي إن المرشح لمنصب رئيس الجمهورية يجب أن يتمتع بأكثر من القدرات العلمية، معتبرا أن كاريزما رؤساء الجمهورية الذين تعاقبوا على مصر تصعّب من اختيار رئيس جديد جدير بهذا المنصب.
