أعلن الاتحاد الأفريقي لكرة القدم قائمة من خمسة أسماء تتنافس على جائزة أفضل لاعب أفريقي لعام 2009، ويبدو أن الكاميروني صامويل إيتو قريبا من الفوز بهذه الجائزة على حاسب منافسيه العاجيين ديدييه دروغبا ويايا توريه والغاني مايكل إيسيان والمالي سيدو كيتا.
