دعا 24 سفيرا ألمانيا سابقا إلى إحداث تغيير جذري في سياسة بلادهم الشرق أوسطية عبر اتخاذ مواقف حازمة من إسرائيل.وأرسل 24 من السفراء السابقين رسالة مفتوحة إلى المستشارة أنجيلا ميركل ووزير الخارجية غيدو فيسترفيله دعوا فيها لمناهضة الاستيطان علنا.
