أعربت وزيرة الخارجية الأميركية عن ثقتها بدعم الحلفاء لدعوة الرئيس الأميركي لزيادة المساهمة في القوات بأفغانستان، وذلك قبيل اجتماع لوزراء خارجية الناتو في بروكسل اليوم. فيما تمكنت روسيا والحلف من حل نزاع كان يمكن أن يؤثر على التعاون بشأن أفغانستان.
