قال الكاتب البريطاني توم غروس إنه يمكن للإسرائيليين والفلسطينيين حل الصراع القائم بينهما شريطة عدم تدخل الرئيس الأميركي باراك أوباما أو السياسيين الأوروبيين. وتوقع المحلل المختص بشؤون الشرق الأوسط في مقال له في صحيفة وول ستريت جورنال قيام دولة فلسطينية مستقلة بمساعدة إسرائيلية.
