طالب رئيس وزراء أيرلندا براين كوين بإعادة مباراة بلده مع فرنسا والتي وصفت الصحافة الأيرلندية نتيجتها بـ"السرقة" بسبب لمس الفرنسي تييري هنري الكرة بيده قبل أن يمررها لزميله وليام غالاس الذي سجل هدف التعادل لبلده (1-1) في إياب الملحق الأوروبي.
