أطلق عليه الأطباء في المستشفى لقب "مخزن الخردة" بعدما أزالوا من معدته نحو نصف كيلو من المسامير والعملات المعدنية والنحاس الصدئ والأسلاك وحديد الخردة. هذا ما يتندر به ريكويلم أبانتو وهو جالس في مستشفى مدينة كاجاماركا في شمال بيرو.
