فجر المتمردون الماويون في الهند مدرستين بولاية جهارخاند وسط البلاد، في حين قتلت قوات الأمن قائدا ماويا بارزا في ولاية أتار براديش المجاورة. وفي نيبال المجاورة فرض المتمردون الماويون السابقون حصارا حول وادي العاصمة كتماندو اليوم في إطار احتجاج مناهض للحكومة.
