أكد سمير زاهر رئيس الاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم ثقته بتحقيق منتخب بلاده فوزا كبيرا على نظيره الجزائري والتأهل لمونديال جنوب أفريقيا. وقال في تصريح صحفي "بكل ثقة إن منتخب مصر قادر تماما على سحق المنتخب الجزائري وتكرار الفوز عليه بخمسة أهداف".
