قالت الكاتبة ريما مرحي إن واشنطن مستمرة في فشلها لأنها تسير في الاتجاه الخطأ، ذلك أن الولايات المتحدة لا تفهم دور حزب الله أو تقدر وجوهه المتعددة وبدلا من ذلك تلجأ إلى حلول سريعة كثيرا ما تضيف وقودا إلى الشرق الأوسط المحترق.
