منح مهرجان الصين السنوي للسينما الوثائقية مهرجان الجزيرة للأفلام التسجيلية جائزة "أفضل مهرجان متطور". وقال مدير مهرجان الجزيرة عباس أرناؤوط إن تكريم مهرجاننا يعكس نظرة صناع السينما الوثائقية في هذا البلد الكبير وثقتهم فيه.
