نفى المبعوث الأميركي لأفغانستان وباكستان ريتشارد هولبروك أن تكون علاقاته مع الرئيس الأفغاني المنتهية ولايته حامد كرزاي متأزمة، وتوقع أن تحدث في جولة الإعادة في انتخابات الرئاسة الأفغانية، التي تنظم بعد أسبوعين، مشاكل أقل من مشاكل الجولة الأولى.
