وافقت روسيا على منح صربيا قرضاً بقيمة 1.5 مليار دولار لمساعدتها على مواجهة تداعيات الأزمة المالية العالمية. جاء ذلك أثناء زيارة الرئيس الروسي ديمتري ميدفيديف للعاصمة الصربية بلغراد في أول زيارة لرئيس روسي لمنطقة البلقان منذ تفكك الاتحاد اليوغسلافي السابق.
