واصلت القوات الإسرائيلية فرض طوق أمني في محيط باحة المسجد الأقصى وتقييد دخول الفلسطينيين إليه، وسط إدانات فلسطينية وأردنية، فيما دعا رئيس الاتحاد العالمي لعلماء المسلمين الشيخ يوسف القرضاوي إلى جعل يوم الجمعة المقبل يوما للاحتجاج على الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية على الأقصى.
