حذر الحاصل على جائزة نوبل في الاقتصاد بول كروغمان من أن الشعور بالرضا حيال الوضع الاقتصادي الراهن ما هو إلا "ضرب من الغباء"، مؤكدا أن مهمة الإنعاش الاقتصادي لم تنته بعد، كما ورد في مقاله بصحيفة نيويورك تايمز الأميركية.
