استبعد رئيس البنك المركزي الألماني عودة اقتصاد بلاده إلى مستوى الرخاء الذي كان عليه في عام 2008 إلا بعد مرور أربع سنوات. واعتبر أن الركود الاقتصادي الحاد الذي واجهته ألمانيا في الشهور الأخيرة قد انتهى، لافتا إلى أن الطريق نحو الانتعاش سيكون وعرا.
