دعت منظمة هيومن رايتس ووتش المغرب إلى إسقاط كافة الإجراءات القانونية، بحق أفراد تم اعتقالهم بسبب تخطيطهم للخروج في نزهة خلوية إلى الغابة في احتجاج وصفته بالصغير على قانون يمنع المسلمين من المجاهرة بالإفطار أثناء ساعات الصيام في شهر رمضان.
