أعلن الرئيس الفلسطينى محمود عباس عقب لقائه الرئيس المصري حسني مبارك أن جولة المبعوث الأميركى جورج ميتشل الأخيرة أخفقت في تحقيق نتائج بشأن إيقاف الاستيطان اليهودي، وبالتالي فلا توجد فرصة في استئناف المفاوضات بين الجانبين الفلسطيني والإسرائيلي.
