توقع فلكي بحريني احتفال العالم الإسلامي بثلاثة أعياد للفطر هذا العام تبدأ من السبت وحتى الاثنين المقبلين. ويرجع الخبراء تعدد المواقيت تلك للاختلاف في الأخذ بمعيار محدد مثل الرؤية المجردة أو الاعتماد على الفلك، الذي يختلف علماؤه أنفسهم بشأن بعض الحسابات الفلكية.
