ابن الشاطر


هو أبو الحسن بن علي بن إبراهيم بن محمد بن المطعم، اشتهر بالرياضيات والفلك، ولد بدمشق سنة 704 خجرية وتوفي فيها سنة 777 هجرية.

هو أبو الحسن بن علي بن إبراهيم بن محمد بن المطعم، المعروف بابن الشاطر، أحد رياضيي القرن الثامن للهجرة. ولد بدمشق سنة 704 هـ وتوفي فيها سنة 777 هـ. كان موقِّتاً في الجامع الأموي، عالماً بآلات الرصد وبعلم الفلك، وألف بهذين العلمين.
