كيميائي وفيزيائي إنجليزي ، ولد في مانشيستر وتوفي في بندلبوري عام 1836 .

أهم أعماله :
- دراسة تأثير بخار الماء على الكربون .
- دراسة خصائص البلاتين الحافزة .
- قانون هنري ( 1803 ) : تتناسب سيولة الغاز في سائل ما وعلى حرارة معينة مع الضغط الجزئي لهذا الغاز في المرحلة الغازية التي تطفو على السائل المحلول . هذا القانون لا يكون صالحاً إلا تحت ضغوط قليلة .
