أزالت اسرائيل نقطة تفتيش رئيسة غرب مدينة نابلس بالضفة الغربية في خطوة وصفتها تل أبيب بأنها بادرةُ حسن نية تجاه الفلسطينيين.

وكان الجيبش الإسرائيلي قد أعلن عن ازالة حاجز بيت إيبا الذي يعد نقطة تفتيش رئيسة، والسماحِ للمواطنين الفلسطينيين بالمرور بحرية كاملة ودون تصاريح. وأكد الجيش أن تحسنَ الوضع الأمني في الآونة الأخيرة هو السبب وراء هذه الخطوة.
