Here are some of the most notable changes in C1.2 rc2.

Lots of fixed bugs in php functions and html/css display.
Some important Security improvements.
Added ability to add and edit unfiltered news articles in Portal CP.
Fixed some magic_quotes and slashes issues (crosses his fingers)
Fixed some compatibility issues with new versions of boards.
Added CP option to use ajax thumbnails or classic thumbnails in MKPGallery.
Added RTL language support by moving all left and right alignment to stylesheet.
Added new RTL tpl_main.php and style.css for "default" and "Forum" stylesheets
Fixed some MySQL syntax error issues.
Fixed path issues with ajaxout module and added compatibility for servers with allow_url_fopen = Off
Fixed ajaxout issues in AEF when forum is set outside portal.
Added new SimplePie RSS module with RSS reader block and enhanced RSS settings in RSS admin CP.
Improved old RSS module (slightly). The old RSS parser is still not compatible with all feed types and versions.
Upgraded TinyMCE to latest version.
Added optional board edit instructions to install/upgrade docs to support "MKP online with Board Offline" and "View MKP with no 'View Forum' perms". This does not affect all boards. This solved the php "include" errors in the portal when the board was set offline or when users were not logged in.
Fixed group perms issues in portal for phpBB3.
Added "help" popup tooltips in the Portal CP Preferences, RSS admin, and Block and Page management.
Fixed blog links UTF-8 compatibility (mainly affected pgpBB3)
