مصادر عسكرية إسرائيلية تقول لـ بي بي سي العربية إن أفراد القوات الإسرائيلية "لاحظوا تصميم المقاتلين الفلسطينين للدفاع عن قطاع غزة"، وقد استخدموا في ذلك نفقا ككمين وتمكنوا من خلاله من إصابة جنود إسرائيليين."
