لقد عرفنا منذ بعض الوقت أنه أثناء النوم، يخضع الدماغ لعملية تنظيف للذاكرة، حيث يتم خلالها تحويل الأفكار التي تم جمعها خلال ذلك اليوم إلى ذكريات طويلة المدى أو التخلص منها.
