قالت لوتان إن جامعات أوروبا وأميركا تحولت لساحات حرب في أول انعكاس مباشر للصراع في غزة بالمجتمعات الغربية، وذلك تحت ضغط الطلاب الغاضبين من تدمير غزة بأسلحة وقنابل مصنوعة في الغرب.
