استنكر الرئيس التركي رجب طيب أردوغان ما سماه نفاق قادة الغرب تجاه المجازر بحق الفلسطينيين في قطاع غزة، ورأى أن مصالح إسرائيل هي التي ترسم حدود الديمقراطية الغربية.
