نقلت هيئة البث الإسرائيلية عن مصادر مطلعة قولها إن رئيس الوزراء بنيامين نتنياهو أبلغ وزير الخارجية الأميركي أنتوني بلينكن بأن إسرائيل ستقيم "منطقة أمنية عميقة" داخل قطاع غزة في اليوم التالي للحرب.
