ثمة أحاديث عديدة تتصل بمسألة الترك وتفيدُ بأن الترك تروكٌ، منها: أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كان "ليدع العمل -وهو يحب أن يَعمل به- خشية أن يعمل به الناس فيُفرض عليهم".
