وزير الدفاع الاميركي، روبرت جيتس، يدافع عن حق القوات الأمريكية في شن ضربات جوية ضد المسلحين في الجانب الباكستاني من الحدود الأفغانية ويرحب بالمقاربة "الأكثر صرامة" التي صار ينهجها الجيش الباكستاني مؤخرا.
