أحبطت قوات حكومة الوفاق الوطني الليبية محاولة لقوات خليفة حفتر لاقتحام مدينة غريان الإستراتيجية، وذلك بعد شهرين من طردهم منها. وفشل الهجوم الجديد عقب معارك وغارات أوقعت قتلى.
