قال هاني بن بريك إن الحوثيين صمدوا خمس سنوات رغم أنهم لا يعتنقون سوى "عقيدة ولي الفقيه" متحدثا عن أيام عصيبة قادمة ومتعهدا بالصمود، ورأى البعض في تصريحاته إهانة للسعودية.
