أكدت تقارير محلية أن الاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم، لن يستعين بالحكام الأجانب في مباريات الدوري الممتاز والكأس بالموسم الجديد، عملا بتصريحات الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي الذي طالب بمنح الفرصة للمدربين الوطنيين، في إشارة واضحة لمنح الفرصة للحكام المصريين أيضا.
