وقعت قطر للبترول اتفاقية مع شركة "توتال" الفرنسية تستحوذ بموجبها على حصة من امتياز أعمال الاستكشاف والمشاركة في الإنتاج بمنطقتين بحريتين قبالة سواحل جيانا على الساحل الشمالي لأميركا الجنوبية.
