لا يدرك معظم مالكي الحيوانات الأليفة أنه بإمكان حيواناتهم التبرع بالدم وإنقاذ حياة الحيوانات الأليفة الأخرى المريضة أو المصابة في عملية مطابقة لما يحصل بين البشر.
