تحولت الأغاني الريفية بمرور الزمن من كونها مجرد أغنية بسيطة إلى إرث فني وثقافي، انطلق من خلالها المئات من الفنانين في العراق، وكانت تشكل جزءاً من الموروث السائد آنذاك.
