بقرار من المحكمة الدولية للتحكيم الرياضي (كاس) عاد المنتخب المغربي للمشاركة في بطولات كأس الأمم الأفريقية من خلال النسخة الماضية التي استضافتها الغابون في 2017، وبمرسوم جماهيري يتطلع "أسود الأطلس" إلى الفوز بلقب كأس الأمم الأفريقية 2019 في مصر، حيث يخوض البطولة بعد معاناة حقيقية واجهتها الأندية المغربية في البطولات الأفريقية خلال الموسم الماضي.
