يأخذ استغلال الأطفال أشكالا عديدة، منها تهريب البضائع، حيث أحبطت الشرطة الصينية محاولات لاستغلال طلبة المدارس في تهريب هواتف آيفون في حقائبهم المدرسية على الحدود بين هونغ كونغ والبر الصيني.
