فاز سعيد بوحجة برئاسة المجلس الشعبي الوطني (البرلمان) في الجزائر بعدما حظي بدعم الأغلبية الساحقة من نواب الموالاة التي تسيطر على البرلمان المشكل من 462عضوا.
