تعرض حي بابا عمرو في حمص لقصف مدفعي عنيف منذ الفجر، في اليوم الـ18 من حملة عسكرية تشنها القوات السورية ضد المدينة، وسط تكهنات باقتحام دموي قريب للحي، وذلك بعد ليلة شهدت اتساعا في المظاهرات بدمشق.
