يطمح معرض صور لمعالم من التاريخ العثماني لتغيير نظرة الشعوب البلقانية لتلك الحقبة، وإشعارها أن تاريخ السلطنة إنما هو جزء من تاريخها المشترك ومن ماضيها وتراثها الحضاري، بكل مسراته وآلامه.
