قالت الحكومة السودانية إنها تلقت وعدا أميركيا بدعم المبادرة الثلاثية للأمم المتحدة والاتحاد الأفريقي والجامعة العربية لتقديم المساعدة والعون الإنساني للمحتاجين في ولايتيْ النيل الأزرق وجنوب كردفان.
